Cold pressing (Chekku Oil / Marachekku Ennai) is a process which involves pressing and extraction of oil from the seeds or nuts or vegetables in a wooden mill without adding any chemicals or preservatives at no heat at all. This method helps retain the nutrients and antioxidants. The shelf life of chekku oil is just 3-4 months.
